..it was strictly in terms of showmanship. Trump had a bad night because he didn't say anything that he hasn't already said, none of which speaks to definitive solutions to the country's problems.

(2,964 posts)The moderator asks a candidate a question relating to a complicated issue and the candidate has 2 minutes to answer. It's more like an oral test question. And when a guy like Trump answers with a known lie, they don't make him prove the lie.
Like Biden said to a Waffle House customer after the debate, "It's hard to debate a liar."
