Half though Biden won and half Trump perhaps the panic has been overstated.

(1,143 posts)Biden already made a big haul before the debate. After the debate $$ is to cement the support through to the election.

(1,732 posts)I got really, really upset when I saw Biden floundering, but I'm too intensely Democratic to see it the way the average voter sees it.

(5,961 posts)I haven't seen much reaction to the debate in my FB feed. One friend (lives in a deep red state; gun toting; but all-in on women's rights) commented that the Trump comment about illegal immigrants "taking black jobs" didn't sound good/come out well. So my thought is that there will be sound bites both sides can use. And let's face it - Trump is good on TV.
Also - it's June. It may move the polls some short term, but it will be largely out of mind in 3 weeks.
