I question whether the volume of the mike was set high enough for Biden.
Two minutes I don't believe was enough time for some of the questions.
Moderators should not have given trump more time to respond when he didn't answer the questions.

(96,882 posts)Both campaigns did mike checks before the debate (I've attended multiple debates before broadcast). If there was a concern they should have raised them.
Two minutes was the time limit agreed to by both campaigns.
Trump kept to his time limits (I tracked it). He wasn't given "more time".

(22,118 posts)Joe was given more time because TFG got xtra time earlier. Which wasn't right. Maybe i'm wrong, but there was a reason towards the end that they gave Joe more time?

(53,544 posts)I've set up sound systems for our retiree meetings and other meetings for over 150 meetings. As a recording secretary sitting next to the podium I made it a point of making sure our members heard our speakers. If it looked like they weren't I would ask the speaker to get closer to the mike or I would move it up or down so it would be closer to their mouth.
Yes it was two minutes for answering a question. That doesn't mean two minutes is enough time for some questions. Some of the questions were more detailed.
