I know I will get a lot of push back from this but it has to be said. With this Supreme Court and with Project 2025 hanging over our head like the sword of Damocles, we cannot afford to have Trump win this election. As Democrats, we always want to do the right thing and let those who deserve to be in office have their day. We can't do that anymore. We can't sleepwalk into oblivion. I have supported Joe Biden even though his age has been an albatross around his campaign. I supported Hillary Clinton even though I knew she had a 52% unfavorable rating and a fake investigation hanging around her neck. We all did because she would have been the 1st woman president and it was her turn. We disregarded all of the warning signs because it was Hillary's turn and look what happened. The most destructive 4 yrs of our country's history. We ended up with a conservative super majority who serves the Heritage Foundation, the people who want to impose Project 2025 on us and do away with Democracy as we know it. Just look at the decisions that have been handed down in the last few days. The guardrails and protections are being destroyed. Ruth Baden Ginsburg, I love her, decided to hang in there even though she was in her 80's and battling cancer for years. That decision also aided the Supreme Court getting a Super Majority. It is time for us to change tactics and change the guard. We need an aggressive candidate that can stand up to Trump and demolish him. This should not even be a close election. It's Donald Trump! His MAGA cult is only around 35% of the population. With abortion as an issue and a convicted felon as an opponent, this should be a blow out election. We need someone who will motivate the young and the independents to come out in droves. Joe Biden does not have that fire. I wake up at night and lie awake thinking about what is happening in our country and how much worse it will be if Trump wins. We can't go into this election with blinders and not read the writing on the wall. This really is too important. Joe needs to step aside and we need to go after Trump with all the ammunition possible, meaning we need to get people out to vote for the Democratic candidate that inspires them. We can try that with Joe Biden but we know from the polls and last nights debate that we are taking a huge chance. I wish this weren't true but it is. We can't sleepwalk into this because we think we are doing the right thing. We can't ignore the signs. We did that with Hillary and Ruth Bader Ginsburg did that and look where we are today. Enough! I'm scared and you should be also.

I will always have Joes' back. He never called us "suckers" and "losers". He, the orange menace, would even not attend a cemetery for the honoured war dead because didn't want his hair wet from the rain. Should have borrowed a hat.

Oh these darn women, first they demanded the right to vote, then they had the nerve to aspire to public office,

If only they would stay at home and sacrifice themselves for the common good. what a wonderful world we would be living in now.
