What a sorry day from the Supremes

Criminalized homelessness, cut the legs off of government regulatory agencies, and probably did Trump's job of pardoning the January 6th insurrectionists.

More to come on Monday when they crown Dump emperor.

No other group, and definitely no other branch of government, can declare something legal and then directly benefit from that ruling the next day.

Shows just how cut & dried that case was.
His Cracker Jack legal team should be sanctioned for wasting everyone's time on a case they knew would lose.

By "Cracker Jack" I mean where he found them.

We know that at least five justices didn't want to give the relief he sought and if any of the others would have done so they didn't indicate their dissent

I'm not an expert on legal or political strategies, but this is quite disturbing.
Can the court be expanded or do we need a majority in both houses to do that?

It could possibly mean that the 'revolution' will come from the left, rather than the MAGAs.

it has to be approved by both houses and the President. I was under the impression it's technically legislation to expand the court.

Disclaimer: I could be totally wrong on that....

I think we would need a filibuster proof majority if the Senate is to be involved. I think this is our largest hurdle (assuming a second Biden presidency), not only due to expanding the court, but nominating judges for the new seats.

Trump has been making sane people's lives a living nightmare since 2016. We can't go through that again. For four years, everyone I know was a basket case. I have to believe this nightmare will finally end.

This is a SCOTUS Dictatorship now. They are dismantling everything this country holds dear and has enacted/negotiated for the last 150 years.

as those assholes think they rule this country. They are NOT going to want to share power with TFG, either.

If, by some miracle, we take Comgres and the White House, the first order of business needs to be to expand the court and restore balance to it.

It looks like it's going to be nearly impossible to remove Thomas and Alito.
