Lucky them. And I'm not just talking about CNN. Of course all CNN journalists will circle the wagons and not allow ANY criticism of their debate "performance" as potted plants, but other outlets will shield them too. Even MSNBC.
They are a very select club and the agreement is not to critique each other. Outside the overpaid talkingheads club, though, they are being trashed.

(25,155 posts)Usually, I'm adamantly against A-1 replacing human employees. In this case, it would be an improvement over overpaid talkingheads.

(6,606 posts)3 minutes in, when Trump started in on Biden, saying, "look at him, he doesn't even know where he's at.". I would have had Trump escorted off the stage.

(25,155 posts)Did he really say that? The only way I could watch the debate was if I muted cheato. If I would have heard that I would have thrown something.

(1,202 posts)CNN will run stories about Trump saying something offensive. What they won't do is run a story, say, about how Trump's policies would be incredibly inflationary

(25,155 posts)I don't watch them enough anymore to know if they've mentioned his inflationary policies, but it wouldn't surprise me if they haven't. They have a way of not getting to the crux of the matter.
