Their next question is going to be: Is Biden fit to be president?

If you're openly conceding Biden might need to be replaced, you are also conceding that he might not have what it takes to remain president RIGHT NOW. Although there might be minor overlap. The Al Franken booters were from a goody two shoes, keep the high road at all costs, come to gunfights with a butter knife types.

The people calling for Joe to step down are in some sense the opposite -- they're not willing to risk the election, even if it means kicking Joe under the bus.

I'm not calling for him to step down but I wouldn't mind if he did. I feel frustrated and trapped in a car stuck on train tracks with a train approaching. And of course, everyone else in the car is saying to calm down and relax.
