(57,832 posts)don't know how democracy can be saved without the ouster of all Republicans and 6 Supreme Court judges. And that won't happen.

(7,794 posts)Unless its a security risk, the public has a right to know. AND time to re-evaluate Executive Privilege. May not always be necessary since POTUS is immune from prosecution

(7,794 posts)as a matter of policy to ensure a fair trial. No trial, no reason to hide the evidence from the voters. I have rights too. I want to know what my President was up to on January 6th ( and the planning leading up to it). We the people are owed information.

(7,794 posts)Were their bribes? We know there is no ethics policy. The ruling is so out of touch with Constitutional history that something happened. I am with Sheldon Whitehouse - dark money.

(3,417 posts)Democracy has never been so damaged in my lifetime. These past few days have been devastating, emotionally and to our nation as weve known it.

(2,888 posts)Mitch McConnell was angling for as he dutifully stacked the court? Or, is this just the blow-back? I can't help but think this isn't what he had in mind (i.e. a Trump dictatorship).

(1,359 posts)I saw this coming. Plenty of people here "disagreed" (to put it nicer than they did.
I will say again what I said then... the right-wing does not care, they will break every rule and destroy every convention to rule over us all with an iron fist. They rely on the left's decency and disbelief that they would do something like that to do those things...

(1,774 posts)We still play fair, talk more than act and keep getting jammed. If Biden doesn't immediately begin a scorched earth movement and stop the talk we will get what they want to give us.

(1,774 posts)In a few months we will know if enough voters in swing states care about Democracy and decency to turn out and vote Blue, no matter WHO is our candidate and all down the ticket.

(2,291 posts)Defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Six members of the Supreme Court have shown themselves to be enemies of the Constitution. It is the president's job and responsibility to defend it. The time has come to act. Options?
Revoke the citizenship of those six members of the court. Order them deported.
Point out that those six members are part of the plot to overthrow the lawful government as we know it. Order their arrest.
Order them deported.
Or ???
Whatever. But action is needed, not just "be sure and vote".
