(30,957 posts)If he can solve this problem Biden will go down in history as the best president ever.
Otherwise. we are so screwed
and I repeat. We can't let them get away with this.

(5,756 posts)an injunction would be issued before the cops sent to arrest them could make their pre-arrest doughnut run. This ruling does not effect judicial review at all.
You sh*tting. The orange nutball has ALWAYS took the most extreme exaggeration of his thoughts and declared them the rule. If you think for a second he wouldnt do the crazy crap and then threaten a judge also, you havent been paying attention.

(5,756 posts)happen now as the Presidential immunity ruling has nothing to do with judicial review.

(113,947 posts)and Trump will no longer have WH Counsels, Generals, and US AG's who refuse him in a second term.
Any attempt for court intervention will be long AFTER the fact and ultimately only six people on SCOTUS decide (and they have already signaled their willingness to absolve Trump of any and all ideologically-compatible actions--no matter how obscene, horrific. Preeminent constitutional law professors reviewing this, including Lawrence Tribe, have said as much.

(2,101 posts)The result was the Trail of Tears. Courts can't enforce shit without cooperation from other branches of government.

Oh, I know Biden won't do that, but that's a matter of Biden's self-control, not a limitation of his raw power anymore.

(12,002 posts)They were mean to me. Dont do that. Treason is the only crime defined in the Constitution. It is very specific, and this opinion aint it.

(30,957 posts)And B: don't tell me what not to do.
And C this is a patterm of criminal behavior. It's more than this one decision.
Oh, I get it, you are suggesting I need to calm down and get over it.
Haha.

I refer you to the United States Constitution, Article III, Section 3.

(30,957 posts)And only Joe can do it;. They wamt executive power? Watch how he does it. I hope.

(4,557 posts)You misunderstand the ruling. This does not expand the power of the executive.

(15,462 posts)You are simply incorrect about this. There is no reading of either this ruling or the Constitution that can be construed to empower or sanction what you suggest.

(81,248 posts)And it is not how Joe Biden operates.
These are legally appointed justices by sitting US presidents.
With the consent of congress.
Biden has no standing to arrest them.
I do agree very much that it is high time to play hard ball
and fight back hard.
But this is not the way to do it.

(3 posts)I want Trump, Alito, etc. to be PUNISHED. I don't CARE about how they feel about it. I don't care about how trump-voters feel about it. PUNISH THEM. They are TRAITORS. WHY ARE WE NOT TREATING THEM AS SUCH? They spit on us, kill us, maim us, and we give them cookies and ice cream! It's SICKENING.
