Did his debate prep team overload him with facts and figures?
I really know nothing about this but forgetting everything else, in many ways, Biden sounded like a policy wonk. That is not is strength. His strength has always been being a regular person who speaks from the heart who voters can identify with.

(25,586 posts)I know nothing, either. It just seemed to me he was trying to dazzle with facts and figures, drawing a contrast with the lying, unprepared conman at the other podium.
Honestly, I thought Biden did handily win the debate. I don't understand how TFG can be declared a "winner" when he refused to answer questions, lied every time he opened his mouth, and showed no understanding of the issues we face.

Over preparation wouldnt have affected his ability to stay on topic and give a complete answer.
