If anyone watched the Stormy Daniels interview on Rachel last night

Rachel brought up the fact we had a revolution so someone could criticize the king, and not have their life destroyed. Yet, that is what has happened to Stormy. Her life has been upended; she can’t work, her life and the lives of those she loves are threatened; and she’s currently facing contempt charges, and possible jail time for not releasing personal, identifiable details about her 13-year old daughter to the court.

No one, in America, should have their life destroyed for telling the truth about someone powerful, but here we are. We don’t adequately protect our truth-tellers and Monday’s SCOTUS ruling will only intensify matters putting more truth-tellers in a powerful person’s crosshairs.

I watched the interview and grew even more worried that the law only protects the powerful and not those who do the right thing and tell the truth. Rachel's approach to this interview exposed even more of the underbelly of Trump's world seldom seen. I doubt this does him any good other than issuing threats against Rachel.

It was heartbreaking.

Did anyone catch whe reason why that court is ordering her to release the info about her daughter? I hope someone can explain that, because it made absolutely no sense to me.

I had trouble understanding a lot of what Stormy said, about that and some other things, because I'm a little hard of hearing. (I wear hearing aids, but they can only do so much.) She talked too fast and too softly, and the words kind of ran together at times. I wish somebody would have turned her mic up.

I had the captions on (I always do) but there was so much time lag that they weren't much help.

She is being destroyed for following a legal subpoena to testify. She has a GoFundMe, about halfway to the $1 million goal, but that seems too small.

She has to pay tRump $600K, plus attorney's fees, and needs additional to find someplace safe to relocate with her daughter. Taxes will take a lot of the funds, so it really isn't enough.

I wish I were rich. I'd give her a shit-ton of money to protect her.
