On a campaign call on Wednesday, President Joe Biden said, Let me say this as clearly as I possibly can, as simply and straightforward as I can: I am running
no ones pushing me out, according to Politico.
He added: Im not leaving. Im in this race to the end and were going to win.

(11,411 posts)I told Biden to fight, and told Schumer and Jeffries to support Biden, shut the whiners up, and fight. I said that I was voting for Biden and they needed to go on offense not act like a bunch of wimps.
That's the short version.

(39,236 posts)Bidens forcefulness and resolve, especially compared to how he came across during last weeks debate, was as reassuring to several attendees, who discussed the call afterward via text message, as what he said.
Vice President Kamala Harris, whose profile has risen in recent days as Democrats focus on her with new seriousness as a possible replacement atop the ticket, was seated beside Biden on the video call...

(590 posts)I absolutely cherish Biden. He has earned and deserves a second term. He has been the Greatest President of my Lifetime!
I only fear that we are letting our love blind us. As much as we loved RBG, she stayed to long. We lost a seat because of it.
I'm just saying that we should keep our eyes open and not blinded by our respect for the man.

He can come out shuffling like he's on his last leg, or forget where he is, and we'll all vote for Joe. He can give a campaign speech with drool running down his chin and we'll all cheer him on to the finish line.
I'm sure the rest of the country will be just as loyal, right? After all, appearances aren't everything in an election.
If not we can spend November 6th here trying to figure out what could have possibly gone wrong.

(55,677 posts)Of course we are in Bizarro World when one of the best presidents we have ever had is being treated like shit while the fucking moron is treated like a God.
I have been fed up with this shit about dropping out especially when it is coming from Dems even more than the GQP. This is a NON ISSUE! This is typical MEDIA BS!
Any Dem who even suggests that Biden should consider dropping out will automatically be on my new and improved shit-list of DINOs.

In all the hot air about Biden's debate performance, and his obvious age, Democrats should not forget that one of the greatest Democratic Presidents led the US through the depression and a World War from a wheelchair.
The key thing to constantly keep in mind is that Trump and his supporters intend to destroy democracy in the US.
While Biden wants to keep fighting maybe we should to.
