There is no way I am going to be celebrating "independence" when we quite literally decided to have a king again. I'm wearing black today.

6. We're still in the fight, and I'm flying the flag.

I usually only fly it on patriotic holidays like the 4th or Flag Day, but yesterday Mrs. Ed put it out a day early.

When I asked her why, she said that all of our progressive friends up and down the street were flying theirs, and even without asking them, she knew it was to say, "It's time to fight!"
