MSNBC trending on twitter

for all the wrong reasons. People see the bias and the obsession with Biden "dropping out." First comment I saw was from BrooklynDadDefiant who really took them to the woodshed (along with CNN). He has more than a million followers. You are not alone if you feel like something is really wrong with even the "progressive" outlets.

Everything is fine and Biden is staying in doesn't drive viewership. Everything is falling apart and this might bring down a president (because apparently being 80 is worse than be a 78 year old racist rapist felon), gets people to tune in.

It's too bad the well meaning first amendment which was designed to make sure the media never had to fear bringing us facts, has been perverted into infotainment where facts are set aside in favor of feeding the viewer what will drive them to tune in.

The primary problem with 24/7 news. In the search for something, anything semi-relevant to yap about endlessly, they sometimes enter a death spiral of dumb.

I did not watch the debate live, but I turned to MSNBC right after it was over. The first thing I heard was a "discussion" of Biden dropping out of the race. Holy Crap! Biden must have really screwed up.

I went back and watched the debate and thought Trump made a fool of himself and Biden, despite being hoarse and stumbling over some words, was on track and made perfect sense.

Since then, every time I turn on MSNBC, the chyron is always pertaining to Biden dropping out of the race, even when the talking heads are not even talking about it.

It's been a week. They've had time to review and evaluate the debate. Trump lied over 50 times and was totally off-topic, refusing to answer any questions. How the hell does he get a pass and Biden gets crapped on?

Meanwhile, I'd like to maintain some positive feelings toward most of these hosts.

Biden as "frail" is worlds better than Trump. End of story. We shouldn't care about anything else. All of the media noise means nothing. It's what Biden says he'll do. He's in the top position of the party and in the top position in the nation. HE gets the final say, and he already has. Enough. Live with your worts.

AI algorithms have the same problem. They keep ingesting other AI generated content to the point they revert to stupid. That's also what happens when journalism majors can't think for themselves.
