Some one else. I've read 50 opinions and news articles about how a lot of Democrats are calling for Biden to step down. None have suggested an alternative nor shown support for any one or even named a person who is willing step up to take on the position of Democratic Presidential Candidate for 2024. Even those at the NYTimes that seem to want Biden to step down have not come forth with a actual person saying they want to be the one to beat Trump.
WTF?

There is no plan. It's a fantasy and a red herring, and we should not take the bait. Especially when we're literally running against a convicted felon and child rapist.
Only one candidate should drop out, but it isn't Biden.

(68,883 posts)I've seen a couple of Representatives call for this, ones who aren't well known. I hope Hakeem Jeffries reminds them of the need for party discipline.
The NYT and some other papers are stoking a lot of drama but no leader in the Democratic Party has called for Biden to step down, unless I missed it.
Democratic leaders are having reasonable conversations about our options, in the wake of a concerning debate performance and some legitimate questions about Biden's age. It's reasonable to talk about this and put together some plans and strategies.
I don't understand the hysteria about this, frankly.
