The current media hits on Joe consist of breathless reports of anonymous "sources" who say Joe should drop out. That's really stretching it out so maybe it will calm down over the next few days. Besides, the Repub convention will be starting soon so there will be plenty of dirt for the media to shovel and outscoop each other.

(13,710 posts)Nah, the MSM will keep beating this drum until the election is over. They will be on the constant lookout for a junior Democrat who wants his name in the press, and is willing to say anything traitorous to get that shot at the Sunday morning media fiasco.

(37,847 posts)Figure out why Trump being all over the Epstein papers is bad for Biden.
Then, its off to the horse races again.
Biden has been a distraction to bury the the Epstein papers and Trump's involvement. Trump the pedophile needs to be the focus and how he is not fit for office.

(25,667 posts)Many of President Bidens wealthy donors are deciding not to donate.
This is what is happening.

(10,833 posts)when I read a report that one of Biden's wealthy donors just gave an additional $400,000 to show her support for Biden.

(2,936 posts)He said that the attention of the media is short. Today is day 10. I hoping today is their last push on this. It makes zero sense to try to force President Biden off the ticket. Only a handful of people are trying to. I think the President has the overwhelming backing of the party.

What we are seeing is that 8 days in the creeks are rising because people like Stphanopoulus keep opening flood gates.
This isn't a natural act, it has a human cause.

I understand your point. You never know what the public will latch onto. The Dean scream however was during a primary, it was not a Presidential election and certainly not one of this magnitude.
I still believe this will pass.

(513 posts)I keep writing to tell them their entire headline section needs to be corrected. They are breathlessly manufacturing stories about Joe Biden's fitness for office. Maybe the 8% stake in Buzzfeed's ownership (Huffington Post parent company) by Vivek Ramaswamy has something to do with it.

They get up and continue the work our country NEEDS.
Slow and difficult subjects to get through all the "Republicans" bent on destroying this country.
Wish everyone that can vote considers those issues.

(1,002 posts)We need to actually break down the facts into small sound bytes and shove it at people in all venues of social media and news sources outside what is considered the standard media. We need to make the facts relatable to the common person on the street. Over and over again.
Such as:
People need to hear how Biden tackled inflation at the granular level. As an example: They need to know how he sold off a lot of our oil reserve to keep OPEC from raising prices on gas to all of us. (In so doing, Biden also raised $100s of thousands in revenue.)
The Infrastructure bill means nothing to most all of us because we know nothing about it. Every project that has started needs at least one large billboard with it and have Biden's and the Democratic Party's name attached to the project. We should also have "Coming soon. . . ." billboards, as well. And again, constant bombardment on social media. We need to force radio ads on the popular radio stations in rural areas so people have something to talk about besides the hate message that is being jammed into their brains..
For infrastructure projects such as Internet access, flood the airwaves of radio and tv, as well as small local newspapers.
Social media is our friend and should be fully used to spread the word.
The Democratic Party and the Democrats in office and running for office in each state, should be utilizing all venues available in rural areas--small local newspapers, etc. to take the message directly to the people who vote. Subtle but constant messages in small sound bytes that always include Biden's name.

(10,833 posts)I think the standard answer to media questions about Biden's age should be as Earl G suggests in his post when he says they should all respond by insisting that it should be Trump who must resign and turn the tables on them.
