is get Trump elected. That's my concern. Time to raise those concerns was before the primaries. What happens if the candidate is changed now?
Millions voted for him in the primary. Those people will be disenfranchised. And I guarantee they won't be happy.
The new candidate will have to start from scratch, and there is no time left for that.
If that candidate isn't Harris, he (or she) won't have access to campaign funds.
If it is Harris, she is already on the ticket, so what is the benefit of replacing Biden with her?
These concern citizens will only result in Trump being elected, nothing else, as far as I am concerned.

And, blinded by their own insufferable arrogance, they've forgotten how much their beloved 3rd-rate Hitler hates THEM. Well, boys and girls, you've fucked around, and now you're gonna find out. Joe Biden dropped by major Hollywood donors

More and more film industry figures, such as Netflix co-founder Reed Hastings, have called on the US president to pass the torch to another Democratic candidate in the race for the White House.

Published today at 1:29 pm (Paris)

On Saturday, June 16, Joe Biden and Barack Obama took to the stage at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles. Hollywood celebrities turned out in force, including George Clooney, Julia Roberts and Barbra Streisand, for the gala, which raised $30 million, more than the $26 million raised at New York's Radio City Music Hall in March. Yet, since his catastrophic June 27 debate with Donald Trump, some key figures in Hollywood – a community that has largely supported Democrats since Bill Clinton – have dropped Biden. Still, the American president, for his part, doesn't intend to give up. In a much-anticipated interview with ABC on Friday, he maintained that "I don’t think anybody’s more qualified to be president or win this race than me." How much longer can he keep this up?

Several major donors have announced that they would suspend their funding for Biden's campaign to force the 81-year-old president out of the race. "The lifeblood to a campaign is money," said Ari Emanuel, a well-known Hollywood agent and major Democratic party donor, whose brother Rahm was Obama's former chief of staff when he was in the White House. "And maybe the only way this gets [solved] is if the money starts drying up."

Netflix co-founder Reed Hastings has, along with his wife, donated more than $20 million to the Democratic Party in recent years. He has also called on the president to throw in the towel. "Biden needs to step aside to allow a vigorous Democratic leader to beat Trump and keep us safe and prosperous," he told the New York Times.

Walt Disney's granddaughter, Abigail Disney, also announced that she was suspending her support. "I intend to stop any contributions to the party unless and until they replace Biden at the top of the ticket. This is realism, not disrespect. Biden is a good man and has served his country admirably, but the stakes are far too high," Disney said, in a lengthy statement to CNBC. "If Biden does not step down the Democrats will lose," she warned.

"SITUATION". Biden doesn't have "a situation". The media, the "big donor" "CLASS" (wtf??? what kind of class system are we voters supposed to bow to?) THEY have "a situation" and they need to get over their well-monied selves and get their heads back in the game. The voters chose Biden. We did not choose "the donor class" or the media.

They knew Biden was old the first time he ran. There's no there there. It's ageism at its most vicious, and REAL democrats should be calling it out (and should ALWAYS call out any kind of prejudice or stereotyping) rather than promoting it.

You're damn right I'm SAYING there's no LEGITIMATE reason Democrats could have to be concerned about president Biden's situation.

And if we can get him re-elected, and send him a House and Senate to support him (which we could do, if the REPUBLICAN OWNED COMMERCIAL MEDIA and donor class would shut up), his second term could be EVEN BETTER than his first term, which was the BEST I've seen in my 75 years.

I agree with the OP. Only traitors to the party would support this move. These attacks on President Biden are very stupid and only helping TFG. Why are supposed Democrats working to re-elect TFG?

https://www.rawstory.com/biden-debate-2668695029/

After stating Biden needs to get in front of voters more, she told the MSNBC hosts, "I would suggest that the response of that very small number of Democrats that have really come out after the president, and some of the media folks that have really come down on him since the election have done more damage and more harm than the president himself did during that debate."

"For me, and millions of Americans like me, this election is about the future of our country. It is about democracy, it is about getting away from the imperialistic, criminal presidency of Donald Trump and making sure that our children have a future that we can feel good about and be proud of," she explained.

She added, "It naive to think that at this point in the process you can switch candidates and still defeat Donald Trump. It is naive to think that the Democratic party will come out of a contested convention more united and stronger than they are today. "

"I think there is a lot more damage being done by folks other than Joe Biden when you look at how folks are reacting to this," she concluded.
