President Biden has arrived at the Northwest Philadelphia church where he will be speaking after the service as part of a campaign swing through Pennsylvania today. Hes joined by Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker and Sen. Bob Casey.

Since you are only an octogenarian sitting next to a nonagenarian, dont let anyone talk about your age, the churchs senior pastor says to Biden, pointing to the churchs bishop & founder, who is seated aside Biden & is 91 years old.
The comment prompted a round of applause.

President Biden needs some love, the churchs senior pastor says from the pulpit, prompting a standing ovation. We did not come to beat up on you.
The pastor then led the church in a chant of, We love you, President Biden.

(32,683 posts)Doubt it will get much coverage from the MSM because it is real and factual.
Maybe a different Democrat would have given a better homily?

(94,590 posts)...the president will be in Harrisburg later for a larger rally.
I hear rumors of an ice cream outing, as well.
Thanks for looking in!

(94,590 posts)...he got some 90% of the Black women vote for president the last time around.
The base has his back.

He looks comfortable and relatable. Just a great appearance, overall. Congregation was warm and receptive, and Joe was at his prime.

(94,590 posts)...I did notice a sh*tload commenting on Meathead trashing the president, and the dynamics of these postings is confounding and a bit dismaying.
I could understand if there was some obstacle in the way, but it's right here. No media filter to have to rebuff. The real deal.
There's a way to describe this. but I haven't yet come to the point where I want to spend any time spelling it out.
Some other time.
