It has never been about Trump and it is not about Biden
Even Trump was surprised that he "could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and not lose any votes." What he did not understand then but understands now, is that it is not about him. Not about his integrity. Not about his character. It is about him being the figurehead leader of the cause. In his case, the cause of racism, greed and sexism.
It is also not about Biden. Not about his age or debate capabilities. It is about abortion, democracy and freedom. He could be on life support and not lose any votes.
The anti-Biden Democrats and media need to understand this. This is a clash of two political cultures and beliefs. Leader or no leader.
