Where's the taco trucks?

Remember when maga said if President Biden was there would be taco trucks on every corner? Sounded good at the time. But sounds great now. At least for Texas. With the world class electrical grid failure Gov. Abbott and Lt. Gov. Patrick gave us after all the promises after the deadly freeze and power outage. Those taco trucks would be about the only place to get food now. Restaurants, fast food places , grocery stores almost all closed down from Galveston to Willis Texas. A category 1 hurricane will probably cost hundreds of millions dollars if not billions. Abbott replaced his very fine appointees with more very fine appointees overseeing the grid and now we can’t even handle a category 1 hurricane. Give republicans another 4 years here and a sneeze will knock out the power from Brownsville to Dallas.

All the people who aren’t working since where they work at has no electricity. All the food in stores and home refrigerators/freezers being thrown out. The few gas stations that had electricity a lot were out of gas today.

I decided to use my comp points at a casino in Louisiana so I’m at the hotel for 2 days. When I checked in and said I was fleeing the power outage she couldn’t believe a cat 1 could do that and what the hell is the problem in Texas.

Again I return back to how bad the grid is being handled in Texas. In Conroe we had 60 mph winds. Tropical storm winds crippled the grid here. You appoint idiots and industry insiders to regulate this is what happens. One more time it was Tropical Storm Beryl that took out Conroe’s grid. Not hurricane Beryl!!!

Putting all our power lines, cable and fiber underground especially im areas with hurricanes and tornadoes at both state and federal levels.

I paid a lot to have my lines undergrounded but since my neighbors are still on the pole I still lose power but I don’t have a pole falling in my yard or on my house.
