I'm riding with Biden. I think Democrats need to get into complete lockstep behind President Biden.

My wife is listening to CNN at the moment. They are absolutely going after Biden like I haven't heard the media going after anyone since Jimmy Carter in my youth. They're pushing the idea that keeping President Biden as our nominee will not only lose the White House but also the House and Senate. Every tiny shred of good or positive news is met with a boatload of "buts." They're calling in every politician and "expert" they can to buttress their position and pushing them hard. They have more than a thumb on the scales; it's more like they have Donald Trump's fat ass on the scales. It's the absolute ferocity that the media is displaying that worries me.

Also, Adam Frisch is a fucking asshole.

5. Trump's LIES during the debate should be the bigger story

Bold faced easily disprovable LIES about Jan 6 and everything else.

CNN platformed those LIES.

To not do a post debate fact check and make that a continuing story is journalistic malpractice and a huge disservice to their viewers.

And it's endangering our democracy.

7. The media makes big money off of convroversy and division

What they don't realize is there will be no controversy and division to report on in a dictatorship, only the leader's side of the story.

8. Elite media are extremely cynical types who are out for ratings and themselves.

They want to maintain their cushy lives and not worry much about the peasants. "Peasants under glass" Chris Matthews called it, referring to all the focus groups media pull in on occasion. Surprised he didn't get reprimanded for that.
