(4,874 posts)This apparently is for those identifying an original violation...so you'll need to identify some other wacko right wing church or something....
Here's the link to the form etc.

(4,469 posts)Too many posts here are just empty posts with links to websites I won't use, like Muxxer, googletube or tiptop.
I don't give clicks to Nazis.
It's not hard to post a little text - like this post does.
Thanks!

(142 posts)I have filled out tax forms for a long time for a non-profit, and every year, there are disclosures as part of tax filing that it is not a political organization. If Heritage is a 501c3, they ARE in violation.
Their submission:
Part IV, Item 3:
Did the organization engage in direct or indirect political campaign activities on behalf of or in opposition to candidates for public office? If "Yes," complete Schedule C, Part IClick to see attachment .............3 No

(1,201 posts)Although I have to say, I'm not encouraged by how this SCOTUS might define "direct or indirect political campaign activities on behalf of or in opposition to candidates for public office."
It would also be interesting to see how they answered this on their 2023 form.

(949 posts)I know the IRS revokes tax exempt status all the time for organizations not filing correct forms, but I've never heard of them doing it for political activity. Churches especially do political endorsements all the time and the IRS just looks the other way.

(4,605 posts)The same way they can't seem to find a "time sensative" mailing from a RITA tax agency that was scanned into Informed Delivery. Wonder if he dreamed up the same orders on "random" Absentee Ballot requests and ballots??? It had a "return address," so DH called to have it remailed...nothing yet.. So twice this mail is MIA. BTW, we were told that franked government 1st class mail can legally be yanked and returned to the sender...Oops, so sorry, we messed up sending that to you??? Why was it addressed correctly and stamped "time sensitive"? I don't like waste and scams that increase postage costs. I've yet to hear about a new contract for local hauling of USPS package mail around the metropolitan area after the one with EVO Trucking was canceled because they were closing due to a bankruptcy...lowest bidder stuff again??? Likely just dumped and on you to dispute w/your bank if those things were "lost."
If the Inspectors General aren't going to make an enforceable stink about missing completed forms from the SCOTUS team like Clarence Thomas, what chance do TPTB give a hoot about IRS forms to rat-out political activities of 503(c) organizations??? So petty?...I have every thought that the mini truck load of forms from informant citizens are just ignored and destroyed??? Why bother...
