According to the Wall Street Journal, Biden can't transfer campaign funds to Kamala Harris

Until he's the nominee.

So, I'd like to ask all the "step aside" types, how is someone else supposed to put together a campaign within 4 months and with no funds? What are The Polls, which run everything, going to say about that person?

All the ad buys. They're contractual.

Joe cannot resign. MAGA Mike would be second in line of succession. With no VP, and none in sight because House GOP won't approve one. .

With the House in Democratic control, Joe can give the Trump Republican Party a big "Fuck You" in 2025.

Joe can't resign in 2025 under any better circumstances. Only public pressure to force the GOP House to approve a new VP. And we need the Senate.

It does no good to elect Harris as VP if Joe leaves office. Same problem.

Maybe this angle is what's causing Party anxiety? From this perspective, NOW is the time to change horses because there may not be another clear opportunity.

many voters are going to believe he was forced to, and they will be upset.

And if that happened and they nominated someone other than VP Harris, even more people will be upset.

This is not a winning strategy. It's creating unnecessary chaos.

and any evidence of that cash transfer, if done while he's president, is inadmissible in court. and Harris can be pardoned if it is illegal for her to take the money

Also, this isn't a down-on Harris post. No candidate could start in July and win the first week in November.
