question everything

Whiny has yet to announce his running mate and I am curious of whether they know.

I think that the V.P. candidate usually addresses the convention so they should have enough time to prepare, no?

I kinda remember that in 1980 it was right before the starting of the R convention when Reagan announced that it was Bush.

Just something different to muse about..

Right, TSF will announce it during the convention. Wednesdays Jul 2024 #2
He'll probably bring them all up on stage and pick one like a beauty contest. tinrobot Jul 2024 #10
Didn't George HW Bush select Quayle at the convention? Irish_Dem Jul 2024 #3
Yeah, except every choice wins you a zonk filled with zonkey dollars. nt Shermann Jul 2024 #5

Picking the VP will probably be a grand spectacle for Magats to see.

It was like an episode of Lets Make A Deal.

Maybe Trump is going for that kind of thing.

Put them all in glass isolation booths on stage.

Whoever can fundraise the most in 24 hours wins.

No bio breaks. Donnie uses diapers, so can they.

I think he's dragging it out because he really doesn't want to have a running mate. If he picks someone even remotely normal they could be a threat to his absolute rule over the party.

As bad as a Rubio or Vance would be. We know they wouldn't try to destroy America to commit crimes and stay in office forever.

Trump probably wants to pick the lamest, most non-threatening person he can find.

It will probably be someone who can raise cash or has got the cash to donate to Trump's campaign/legal bills.
