What has been happening over the past two weeks is not a good look for the Democratic Party. I think Joe Biden should be given another week to finalize his decision and if he decides to stay in the race, well that is how the Party will move forward. No more crying in public, no more tears over down ballot races, no more running to media to whine about how terrible all this is. The energy of we the people will decide this election, and if Joe decides to stay in the race then he deserves our 110 percent support. This country owes an enormous debt of gratitude to Joe Biden. He navigated one of the darkest times in the history of this country coming out of Covid and an attempted coup, and four years of performative antics of his predecessor when the rest of the world was reeling in their assessment of the United States. If Joe Biden is holding a rally in your state, you need to go to that rally. If the rich donors who think they control the Democratic Party won't give money, then we all need to chip in more. We need to overwhelm the press by being all in for Joe Biden, if that is our choice. We need to turn Joe Biden into the People's Candidate. We need to show the world that we don't bow down to dictators, we don't bow down to the press, and we don't bow down to rich donors.

(2,317 posts)Against Trump (Fascist) in November, whoever that Democrat is. I personally do not think Biden can win at this stagehes behind or at best even in every swing state, and Trump outperformed polling in 2016 and 2020. And these sorts of stories dont make me more confident - https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna161296
And to be clear, Im not calling for Biden to drop out. Hes been a good President (probably middle of the pack historically) and was probably the only Democrat who could have won in 2020.

"Who will slay the dragon?" is the storyline.
Go with it and use it to our advantage.

It's a presidential prerogative.

I'm thinking this is all a Russian op. Putin wants his puppet back in the Oval Office.

(1,448 posts)I personally am sick and tired of all the bullshit. The bottom line for me is I will vote Democrat no matter who is running. The ignorance will not stop me from voting. I can only assume 99% will follow my lead. It's the fucking media stirring it up!!!!!
