(9,979 posts)3. I put two and two together yesterday re: this and the confusing Dean Phillips primary campaign as well.
These no-namers aren't doing this out of their own volition -- they are being put up to it, I'm sure, by donors. It would explain why it's mostly nobodies. The bigger names aren't as beholden to the donor class since they are famous enough to raise plenty of money through grassroots support from everyday people like you and me.
