Cash rewards being paid to congress members who ask Biden to withdraw

Novogratz Boosts Biden Critics as Donors Boycott President

Bloomberg) -- Galaxy Digital LP founder Mike Novogratz and filmmaker Andrew Jarecki are two donors behind a $2 million contribution to Democrats who have called for President Joe Biden to step down as the party’s nominee, the latest sign donors are shifting money away from the presidential ticket.

The donation is from a group of several dozen donors, also including Sessa Capital’s John Petry and hedge-fund manager Neil Chriss and his wife Natasha, to a super political action committee for House Democrats. The funds are earmarked to help vulnerable members who were among the first to say Biden should bow out of the race, according to a person familiar with the contribution.

Those lawmakers risked angering the Democratic National Committee, which is aligned with the Biden campaign, and provides significant financial support to candidates in battleground districts.

The money is slated to bolster Representatives Angie Craig of Minnesota, Marie Gluesenkamp Perez of Washington State, Jared Golden of Maine and Pat Ryan of New York.

They call out Biden, jeopardizing his campaign, so we call them out, jeopardizing their campaigns.

End result could be that we lose some Dem House members and Biden might lose to Trump.

How does this help the US and the Dem Party? Looks to me like it stirs up more Dem in-fighting.

How about if we just keep backing Biden strongly and not rush to judgmental in-fighting over claims on Xitter regarding motives for donations to House Members?

None of this explains why the media have so consistently piled up on the anti Biden bandwagon, especially ones that formerly supported him. They reacted to the debate initially, but then kept going even after Biden's successful appearances later.

We're they bribed, too?

Something is still missing in this story.

Although the stock price had risen to $35 at its IPO, by December 3, 2008, it dipped to as low as $1.87 after withdrawals from Novogratz' Drawbridge Global Macro fund were shut off.[13][needs update] Fortress folded after Novogratz and his colleagues lost hundreds of millions betting on the Swiss franc and Brazilian assets.[2]

Galaxy Digital Holdings Ltd. is one of the few cryptocurrency companies required to publish financial results. In the first nine months of 2018, the company lost $136 million in cryptocurrency trading.[16] In 2017, Galaxy Digital contributed to an $80 million funding round for technology company Bitfury.[17]

Galaxy losses widened to 554 million in Q2 of 2022 following a 182 million dollar loss for the past year.[18]

He stated in 2017 that 20% of his net worth was in Bitcoin and Ethereum. He says he made $250 million from crypto currency from 2016-2017.[19] At a 2022 cryptocurrency conference, Novogratz boasted that he was "only guy in the world that’s got both a Bitcoin tattoo and a Luna tattoo".[20] A few weeks later, UST(the algorithmic Terra Luna stable coin), which claimed that it was pegged to the US Dollar, lost nearly all of its value.[20]

53. Make a wish washy statement, take the money, give it to Biden (tie your campaign ads to needing a Democratic President).

I suppose you could consult with the Biden campaign first? They might be ok with you taking the money if you use it to support Biden and yourself, and in a few weeks apologize and say Biden has proved you wrong. Biden is stronger than ever and you are 100% behind him and never should have doubted Biden because of ageism and the media.

Honestly trying to figure out why so many are floating the crazy replace Biden at last minute option while so many others are staying committed. It doesn't make sense to me. It does keep all eyes on Biden however, which if he continues to show strength, is a positive.
