Who else has the sense the underlying voter sentiment is worse for Trump than the polls show? Similar to the midterms

It just feels that way to me and I remember having the same feeling leading up to the midterms. I also think this Project 2025 stuff is what is moving the polls currently. I'm seeing it ALL over social media coming from my friends.

Now that Biden is being more forceful they are starting to break for him. I doubt TFG’s numbers increase much from where they are.

that people are generally reacting quite negative to the trolling against Biden - a lot of second guessing going on about why the media is being so relentlessly negative - coverage of Project 2025 is also getting a lot of traction, especially given the apparent quiet culling of P2025 posts. I think it's accelerating the already bad move away from FB in particular, and it's not doing Trump any favors.

He's been sucking all the oxygen out of the room for almost 10 years now. We just want him and his nastiness gone. Personally, I'd like him six feet under gone, but I'll settle for kicking his sorry orange ass at the ballot box again.

That’s it, really, but I hope they get people to the voting booth in droves for Biden.

Seems like conservatives tend to poll better than they perform.

Probably due to antiquated polling methods and a desire from some to skew the polls.

There were Trump signs, Trump flags, Trump bumper stickers, Trump rallies, Trump parades.

This year there is none of that. One pick-up truck with the Trump/Rambo flag, Trump stickers all over, and a window sticker making it look like Trump is riding in the passenger seat.

Other than that, nothing. And what's better is that the MAGAs who talk RW BS all day every day have shut up.

We won't know until election day, but right now it looks like the fever has broken.

I believe that the anti-Trump sentiment might be stronger than what the pundits and the corporate media thinks. A lot of progressives and moderates are busy people: they aren’t interested in answering thirty minutes of pollster’s questions when some paid caller interrupts whatever they’ve been doing. I know I don’t. And once burned, twice shy: the next pollster to call might only have 30 seconds of questions, but the previously-polled have sharp memories of being lied to and hang up.

Also, some of us are getting paranoid. We wonder if that pollster is for real or a reactionary political organization forming an enemies list. We aren’t going to give a straight answer, especially in culturally-red states where the right to dissent may be legal but it isn’t respected.

Now people are actually listening to what Biden is saying. Him being under a microscope might be what we need. Also, there is a lot of fear in the air of trump coming back. People seem to be rallying around Biden. I teared up seeing the crowd reaction in Detroit. Hope and fear are great motivation to vote.
