On my i-phone and computer when I sign on.. the concern stories about the President seem to be backing down .. and its more the President getting control of the campaign back type of stories.
Have they figured out they completely f****d this up?
Edit: They as in media, punditry , pols

President Biden and us supporters are becoming defiant in their fake assault and ignoring the real danger of the orange convicted felon who talks nonsensical and unintelligible and definitely has some cognitive issues. In addition he has so many skeletons in his closet.

(9,068 posts)They've always got a finger to the wind, and will shift their position as the wind shifts.
Right now it's blowing hard and carrying President Biden forward, so you'll see the media grab that wind and go with it.
This has nothing to do with right or wrong, it's all about public perception, and how it can be manipulated, or not.
But ultimately, the media will go with what brings in the most money for them.

(24,288 posts)and him with his mouth wide open trying to sink this election. I do not know what else to think of him anymore.. He is fully invested in sinking us.. that and of course the British tabloids are it it full throat.. but they are not news in any way shape or form.. just click bait.. maybe they were just taking a break.. but like someone said further up.. the Michigan rally may have shook a few of those goofballs up

(60,186 posts)Maybe they are missing their relevance, figuring that if the president is as old (or older) than Bill Clinton, they they automatically still have a right to be taken seriously. But Bill Clinton left office 23 years ago, and they became media pundits. Political stardom in 1992 doesn't guarantee you a free ticket to page one a quarter century later.

(24,288 posts)What you call a little past their due date.. At least the President is still relevant and connected to what is happening in the world..this whole idea that they could just snap their fingers and the person that the voters selected would just walk away on their say so.. Must be good to be them

(5,293 posts)Usual. Anyone that jumps on the Biden retire bus at this point looks like an also-ran.
The story going forward looks pretty positive.

(35,075 posts)But only since Friday. Prior to Friday, it was a Non-Stop coverage of whether Biden should step down and interviews with all the people who wanted him to step down.
Twice today I've randomly tuned in to CNN and MSNBC and they were talking about other topics. They're showing positive clips of Biden. They're also talking about VP Harris' scheduled events, which is great. They're talking about project 2025. And they're talking about the threat that trump brings.
I think the presser forced them to think about how trump would have handled the same questions and the threat that the entire world is facing. A lot of people will be killed if trump gets back in.
It's time for everyone, whether it's us at home or news organizations, to come up with strategies for how to win in November. We know who our candidate is and now it's time to fight.
WE tell Independents what to think, not the other way around. So we have to be united and firm in what we're communicating.
