Newsmax and Joe Biden

Newsmax was on at the gym this morning so I was watching it out of the corner of my eye from the treadmill and they started discussing Joe’s NATO press conference with a former army colonel and a former member of Trump’s foreign policy staff. They all agreed it was a “disaster.” Some of the things that stood out were the colonel stating Joe could barely feed himself tapioca and he was leading us into WW III. The colonel said Joe was petulant, unlike Trump who was decisive and deliberative, and that Russia would not have invaded Ukraine under Trump and Hamas would not have committed the atrocities on 10/7. The policy staffer (and host) all agreed with this and opined that not only does Joe need to withdraw as candidate he needs to immediately resign as president.

I obviously disagree with every bit of this, but thought it was worth posting because this is the sort of propaganda we are up against.

4. Eh they've got like 40 TVs showing all sorts of different shows

I’m not leaving a gym because I disapprove of a random tv channel. And I don’t even usually notice because I watch movies or shows on my iPad while on the treadmill. That one drew my attention because of the recent furor about our president.

It was a truly appalling “news” segment though.

3. It's not only RW media, it's MSM

Stirring up doubt, "reporting" on anything that puts Joe Biden in a bad light, questioning his abilities, posting opinion pieces that imply he can't win because he's compromised. Best to ingore all of it.

Clearly RW media, which most DUers won't watch, uses more extreme language to go after President Biden. I'd suggest you ask the gym to put on a different channel. Not news! I'm disgusted by MSM as well as RWM.

Folks who watch Fox, News Max, Christian Broadcast Network get flooded with the hateful stuff you shared. They're already inclined in that direction. I have heard stories of reasonable people being brainwashed after being exposed to RW media for a period of time.
