In contrast, Republicans have issued unhinged and conspiratorial comments across social media that simply serve to shine a light on their mendacity and disturbing world view. Tacky merchandise is already for sale. They have outright blamed President Biden for the attack at the rally.
Within hours, Republicans have managed to squander any empathy that non-MAGA world may have had for Trump in this moment.
They are duplicitous, they are cunning, and they are liars. Republicans are incapable of behaving like mature adults. They simply can’t help themselves.

I learned a lot about the world from my Dad. One thing he would say to me was that there are some people you just can’t be nice to.
