Why did no doctors speak at the hospital with charts and diagrams as to his condition and to any damage done to the ear?

No detailed medical information diagnosis and prognosis were offered to the public.

Even though it was apparently a slight wound, when an ex president is involved the incident is of great interest and one would think that complete medical explanation was in order.

We know he went home after being treated so he didn't require even overnight observation.

Very strange goings on indeed.

They could lose licenses and/or be prosecuted or fined.

Those rights he would trample without even a first thought still protect him.

But here's a question. Who in the press has asked?

Unless Trump gives the ok, the doctors and hospital can't speak on personal medical information.

Should have a google doc with HIPAA stuff that can be copied and pasted in threads.

The number of times it comes up and needs to be explained is . . . a lot.

Save some keystrokes, lol. Fingers are people, too!

But the topic really does come up oddly often here and require the same explanations again and again.

Actually surprises me. Like, it takes literally the same effort to throw a question in google as it takes to post here.

Or at best shrapnel from an object hit by a bullet fired at him.

To my mind the difference is inconsequential.

I'm not sure how anybody could spin that into "Nothing to talk about".

This obsession some have with minimizing this incident is truly strange.
