the press is going wild with President Biden's use of the term keeping Dump in the "bullseye" when speaking about the voting in the election, it raised the temperature to them. It was an unfortunate use of the word. I agree, but he certainly wasn't referring to assassinating him.

I watched a replay of the interview nervously. Not because I don't believe in Biden but because he is under a ridiculous microscope now with the Press trying desperately to make something out of the slightest misspeak. Add the complication that Biden has a stutter which takes a hell of a lot of effort to speak around, he does it so well that people don't realize the effort it takes. Despite all of those factors up against him, Biden did an excellent job. Lester Holt stammered a few times as he didn't know what to say in response to Biden (maybe he should retire? I mean, after all, he stammered.)

But in my mind, they've had enough time to right the ship so I tuned in when I saw it was on. The president didn't speak with any extraordinary eloquence, but his responses were right on. And he called out the media malpractice being done with this both sides nonsense.

Obviously I condemn political violence, and what happened to Trump, and the death of Corey Comperatore is vile and despicable. It was really a matter of chickens coming home to roost, and all of the rhetoric of the last 9 years by Trump that incited such lays at his feet. It's sad because when Trump was President during 2020, if he wasn't so partisan, and actually moderated himself and tried to unite the country, he wouldn't be in this situation.

Trump needs to do his part more so to turn the temperature down, not the Democrats.
