ABC radio news on Biden and covid.

I was happy to hear them say that Biden's symptoms are mild and he is on Paxlovid. They added that he will probably bounce back well from this and be back on the campaign trail as soon as he is able.

I was surprised to hear that from a mainstream media source. No talk of it slowing him down.

1. Maybe he was feeling the first effects of this during the debate

I've had covid. You feel miserable for a few days; then you go into a period where you throw up for about a day, and then you sleep - like a flu bug or food poisoning. The timeline might be too long, but the first debate was on June 28th, it is now July 17th, so it's well within the realm of possibility that he might have shown the first symptoms of it then and not realized that it was covid until recently. There is no way to be sure at this point, but it would make sense if it was.

3. Might be possible, but I think it's a stretch.

The time between the debate and now seems too long. Also, Biden said that he was tested for covid when he had his cold.

His schedule has been hectic for the last few weeks.
