Just imagine. Biden sticks to his guns and stays the course. The media, billionaires, even members of his own party trying to force him out of the race. But he has vowed over and over to "finish the job". He refuses to step aside. Come November a literal tsunami of democratic votes sweeps out the rancid trash that has infected the American political system.
Greatest comeback in history.

(103,806 posts)As an observer, as in watching not like a religion thing, of astrology I can say that Joe will rebound and rise to the top. He's a Scorpio, I know something about that and the life cycles and challenges that the sign implies. Death and rebirth, the full circle. He might be down right now but if we hang on to him, he'll pull us out of the muck at the bottom of the swamp and guide us to fresh air at the surface.
Our job, stay the course, ignore the bullshit and don't be swayed by whatever the outrage du jour, is my advice. It's a thing and it will come around if we help it by not doubting Joe.

After November if it has been decided that Joe cannot finish his term due to a medical condition, Kamala will step in and do GREAT things. She has been a forceful voice for women in this country. For women make up over 53% of the voting electorate.

(5,561 posts)Part of the reason the GOP felt certain Trump won last time was because Biden had few rallies due to covid threat unlike Traitor Trump's endless rallies and boat parades despite covid risk.
Huge risk for Democrats though.

(60,429 posts)Their net worth in this economy has risen farther than under any other president--not that a billionaire by definition needs to be overly concerned about seeing his net worth rise, but if that is how they keep score, they would be well-advised to check out who has been more beneficial to them--the Democrats or the Republicans. The Dow is now over 41,000. That has to be really good news to at least some of them.

(12,652 posts)wailing about making the rich pay their fair share in taxes. I think this is a cynical view except that I'm sure the billionaires supporting Trump at least are doing it for tax cuts reasons as well as no regulations.

(115,615 posts)That he wanted to spread the rumor that he was going to step down to see what the Republicans would do? Would they ask their convicted felon to step down?
I think he probably entertained the thought of stepping down if Trump was forced to step down. That didn't happen.
Now he is in it to the end.
