Normally, I don't weigh in on these shenanigans. However, this BS is so blatant that I had to be the first to call it out. This has nothing to do with Biden's current health. It's all about Kamala. She would win if Joe stepped down, but that's not what's really happening in the rarified air of Democratic elites and donors. They don't care if they win or lose this time. They don't want Kamala anywhere near the seat of power because they know they won't have a chance in Hades to move her out in 2028. They don't want their guy, or in the case of overly ambitious Senators and Congressmen, themselves, to have to wait until 2028. That's it. Yes, it has to do with her ethnicity. Don't try to offer placid, "Oh, you're being paranoid..." BS excuses. Yes, it also has to do with her gender. Hillary had many faults, but being a woman was a major one even in the minds of many Democratic power players. I'm very pissed off (how's that for overarching nuance) with Nancy, Schiff, and the rest of the tony group. I should remember that Black Americans never succeed by wholeheartedly believing the "good intentions" of the majority group (and the very few Black people that call themselves powerbrokers are deluding themselves - yes, I am referring to Jeffries and the others falling in with Nancy and her group).

End of rant. My sorority and boyfriend's fraternity (both stretch worldwide) agree with my take on this (they are just not voicing it - yet). There is a distinct sense of boiling anger surrounding this farce covered up by "we are concerned for Biden's welfare." Do you think Dems are going to win if you piss off 30-40% of the base that put Biden in? Think again. But, as I said, these powerbrokers in the Democratic party don't really give a rip about winning 2024.

Later Thursday, after my initial post, AOC dropped a video bombshell. She confirmed that this scheming faction doesn’t just want Biden out – they’re gunning for Harris too. AOC put it plainly: "They want to remove the entire ticket."

If Harris wasn’t on the ticket, everyone would be "ridin' with Biden." So, why are they taking this route? Simple. It’s the same old story – good ol’ fashioned, rock-solid racism and misogyny (aimed squarely at Black women).

And for those who claim Kamala’s Blackness hinges on the one-drop rule, what about her fully Black father? She’s Black, period. That’s why the older crowd has "an issue" with her – though they "just can’t put their finger on why..."

It’s the same tune I heard in the Junior League about Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex. They "just couldn’t put their finger on why they just don’t really like her..."

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

This will be confirmation to me that the Presidential run of 2028 is being reserved for someone who has powerful allies in Congress. Hint: he’s played dirty tricks before in his strive for the top and is not the person we were lead to believe he was, and he is not a person of color. Good luck fucking over a hugely important demographic if this is the plan. It will sink our party. Spoiler alert: if they do this we will lose and there won’t be a 2028 election.

If he is forced out

He should demand it's on his terms only or they can have a floor fight, guaranteeing trump's win

He should pardon his son
He tells Elites pushing him out that Harris is on Top of the ticket and Buttigieg is VP (or floor fight)
He should resign NOW making Harris the incumbent (making it harder for them to screw him on the deal)
He should tell his delegates they are released only to Harris/Buttigieg

All that said, we will lose horribly. With all the Lawsuits that will be filed, it will be nothing but a cluster fuck and trump with get 400+ EV

But if they disrespect Harris by removing her from the ticket, we will lose all black support (rightfully so) and be lucky to carry one state
