Suppose in reality Joe was ahead right now 60% to 40%

Would our wealth class owned media report that?

Or would they report fake divides?

Think political ad $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Joe will win that big IMO.

It would be treated like previous elections in the modern era (64, 72, 84, and 96) where the winner wasn't really in doubt.

Or the reality is that the polls are closer to that already. And they are still pushing for their tax cuts and less regulation.

Biden would still be admonished for being too old and gaffe prone. Trump would still be allowed to ceaselessly lie.

Trump is a loser - and I believe Biden is likely leading by at least 10 points - and maybe as much as you've proposed here.

I believe Joe would win handily if he were to stay in...

I also believe the Dems could field a number of candidates that could beat this very beatable convicted felon!!!

I can't count like Pelosi, but I know that polling isn't anywhere near as accurate as it used to be before the advent of smart phones.

Biden was ahead the entire 2020 campaign, and there was just as much talk about polls as there is this time.

60/40 is, sadly, just a fantasy. The 2020 campaign was relatively drama-free, Biden won without too much trouble, and the split was 51/47.

That is not the situation. The EC margins are razor thin.

Biden would win the Popular Vote, but we don't do it that way because antiquated reasons.

If it says something else, I'm not aware of it. I don't have a hidden agenda and I don't particularly care if Biden drops out or not, but that's what it looks like is happening.

Right now, and I've said it in other posts, I think Biden would win the Popular Vote. But that's not how this fucked-up system works.

The EC should be burned to the ground along with the Senate and the SCOTUS.

Biden isn't up in the polls. And the polls are getting worse. That's why we are having these conversations. It's not about Biden the person but the candidate. He is looking like a worse candidate every day.
