If Biden resigns and Harris becomes president

how do we get a VP nominee through the House of Representatives? Then if something happens to Harris in the next six months it's hello President Mike Johnson.

We already had a primary. We, the Democratic voters, have chosen President Biden as our nominee. I do not expect, not would I agree with, the DNC going against their voters.

4. Exactly. Biden should not resign even if ailing since we may NOT get a new VP.

Republicans don't play fair. They would block any nominee, putting MAGA Mike a heartbeat away from the presidency--and likely putting Harris' life at risk.

We need to be ridin' with Biden.

Hopefully he'll be good for four more years, but if not, Democrats may take back control of Congress so that a president resigning would not leave a VP vacancy indefinitely.

5. Biden shouldn't resign, there are more good people than MAGAs

Remember there are many, many more good people in this country than there are magas. Fact it's almost 2/3 more. Trump came in second in both of his elections and ended up as president in the first one anyway. It's also important to remember that not once during Donald Trump's election or his term in office did he have the support of a majority of the people in this country.

In the 2016 election Trump lost by 3 million votes but he was in office anyway and the 2020 election he lost by 10 million votes. If we get busy perhaps Biden can win by 15 million or more. Don't whine, GET BUSY!

All we have to do is talk to individuals who are considering not voting, or talk to individuals who are persuadable and make sure we all vote blue no matter who.
Is it time to ask "Is Never Again Republican" right for me?

I thought stupidest thing ever. Johnson is moved temporarily to the VP slot. He’s in the Senate as a tie breaker. We are losing one seat with Menendez out. The house will be back at endless fighting for the speaker slot. So we end up having Johnson this time instead of Pence. What could possibly go wrong? Just everything.

9. If we didn't get a VP through the congress. Grassley will run the Electoral Certification

On January 6.
Not Harris.

Think about that.

IF Biden withdraws as a candidate, he should remain as president.
Run Kamala for president while she is VP so that she can also run the Electoral Certification on January 6.

All that being said -- I don't think Biden should withdraw from this election.

If they push Joe out, might as well get used to learning Russian.
