That's not a perfect description but you get the idea. Bill Clinton had to "triangulate" because his power was very limited. Now he and Hillary are sticking with Biden. There are many in congress and elsewhere in a real bind lately. I don't blame them for trying to survive this mess. I wish the entire party some monumentally skillful navigation. I trust Nancy, Barack and the others to help Joe steer us out of this storm
