A Trump II Administration Could Be Even Worse Than We think

I know all the obvious perils of a Trump win. The military and Justice Dept. without guardrails. Replacing both Alito and Thomas with younger Justices as right wing and crazy as they are. Project 2025: Probably the most dangerous manifesto of a possible governing party in American history. Add the grift and corruption. The erosion of rights. Holy shit!

But here's one we won't see until the crisis happens. What if there's another pandemic like Covid? The Trump administration wouldn't put a single mandate in place. The leadership of the science and medical teams would be filled with crack pots and quacks. Again, there'd be no guard rails. There certainly would be no Tony Fauci or anyone like him.

The repercussions of a Trump Presidency will haunt us for 2 generations and any possible catastrophe would be of biblical proportion.

Millions, maybe tens of millions, possibly up to hundreds of millions dying. Vast numbers of others becoming climate change refugees. Unstable governments collapsing with certainty and maybe even some that are now strong.

Yea, we ain't seen nothing yet.

True.

But the problem is the ignorance, fear, and stupidity of capricious voters – that presidents are installed via a process both undemocratic and antimajoritarian contrary to the will of the people.

Sadly.

Any EC “win” by Dump I would consider illegitimate and certainly grounds for some states to consider secession.

Separatist movements will form very soon after a stolen election by Dump.

the the whole goal here is to NOT let trump back in the White House. We have to remember that there are those here who are doing their best to divide Democrats by using all kinds of bullshit to try and convince those on DU, and others online to NOT vote, stay home, or write in someone else.

No matter what happens, and no matter who ends up at the top of the ticket WE HAVE TO
GET OUT AND VOTE FOR THAT PERSON! DON'T LET trump NEAR THE WHITE HOUSE!
