This is the actual reason that some people are telling Biden to drop out

during midterms to the Party that supports fair/progressive taxation and new programs, then suddenly decided they would no longer do that because taxes might increase. I just don’t believe that is true for the vast majority of these donors.

by a small group of mostly privileged white, anglo men who think they know better than we the people just like the 5 GOP SCOTUS judges thought they knew better than we the people in 2000. This current little dem anti democracy cabal should not now even think about trying to sabotage the Vice President in her effort to become the nominee.

And (to me) this kind of epitomizes the lack of thought, bumper sticker/meme oriented, kind of 'answers' we appear willing to go for in the current atmosphere. Disappointing.

And don't say Biden's performance at the debate. It wasn't that bad, and he's since shown that he's the same Biden he's always been.

There's something going on that's attempting to disenfranchise We the People, so tell me what you think it is.

and if Biden isn't going to win, they want to spend their money on House and Senate races to make sure the Republicans don't snag both of them as well.

So you get to say “it wasn’t that bad, and he’s the same without me being able to frankly respond. Think what you will. But your conjecturing is just that. A theory. Seems there are many people not on this discussion board that disagree.

continued. And, most importantly, there is virtually no chance of it passing.

"That total includes Biden's "billionaire tax," which would impose a 25% minimum tax on individuals with wealth of over $100 million. The Treasury estimated it would raise $502 billion over the decade."

25% tax rate is the 1st item that gets tossed if KH gets the support of the donors.

Citizens United has got to go! This stunt of forcing out our candidate will never end unless we change it.

Start by making ALL tv ads free. We the people own the airwaves. Leased to those who charge huge amounts money for air time.

Taking the money from here isn't much of an impact, but it is a start.

Why take a chance on another Democrat emerging from the convention (who might have the same, or an even stronger wealth redistribution stance) if all they care about is lower taxes and they can get that from a Trump win?

It is a harbinger of things to come, and that's why they want him out of there. Trump is making them big-time promises saying what he'll do for them, and I suspect he'll get a butt-load of cash coming in for the next few months to make it happen. We have to GOTV in November, but first, we need to unify as a party!
