Were we not all dying to know what Joe Manchin thought about all this?

I put in at least twelve calls to his office this week alone. "Please, for the love of God. My anxiety will not be assuaged until I know what Joe Manchin thinks is the right thing to do in this - or really any - situation."

Whew. Now I can rest easy this Sunday, much like the Lord Himself.

The left progressive wing of the Party has stood behind Mr. Biden from the start, and stands for him like a rock today.

"In our Party, the excesses of the left hamper acquiring a majority, the excesses of the right hamper wielding a majority."
