If Biden were 109, no one would care if the VP were a white male. Theyre worried about Joe dying, not being senile. They know that weve governed magnificently under a coalition. Its not about competency.
Now they can open the convention and get rid of both Biden and Harris.
As a woman who will never underestimate misogyny after 2016, this is my world now.
Second class citizen til the day I die. (Even worse for AA women).

(7,964 posts)I know that everyone here is feeling pain. My point is that Harris is not the inevitable candidate. This was a push to get rid of her.

To completely chuck Harris would disenchant a lot of voters. To keep her as VP would at least give pissed off voters a path to the polls and vote (D).
