So how does this work?

The President has unfortunately stepped out of the race and endorsed Veep Harris but that doesn’t mean she automatically gets the spot, right? No one voted for her to be at the top of the ticket.

So how does this work? Do we now have an open convention with all delegates released to do whatever they want? Do people now throw their hats in the ring?

I would rather Joe had stayed in it but it’ll be interesting to see what we do here and how the process will work.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.

Tell me more...
