(60,032 posts)Ill ask him, but I dont he or Gabby are interested in him trying for the nomination for VP.
My bet would be Gov. Whitmer or Mayor Pete, but either speculation is premature.

(60,032 posts)I still dont think he wants it. But Ill ask him. If he has an answer, but requests it not be published, I have to respect it, though.

(60,032 posts)I personally think he's happy where he is, and I just think Whitmer or Buttegeig will end up getting the nod. I will hear what he has to say first before speculating any further. Gabby's OK is a must, of course.

(25,621 posts)For geographical strategy, Shapiro would make sense to gain PA's electoral votes.
I don't think that Beshear could bring KY with him, but there might be other qualities that Beshear could bring to the ticket that puts him on the Harris short list.

(62 posts)Id assume those same possibilities are also being considered for VP.
According to a WaPo report
Top Democratic donors are funding a preliminary vetting process for potential vice-presidential nominees.
Four people with knowledge of the process told the Post that those involved in the effort have contacted the teams of top Democratic figures, including Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro and Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear.
Additionally, North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly are also being vetted, the sources said.

A Harris - Kelly ticket would beat the un-American GOP fascist kkkowards.

(53 posts)He has an Obama character, selfless, leader, sort of quiet but not when stuff is real, but I seriously doubt the viability of two minorities on the ticket, regardless of qualifications.

She has many terrific options.
Pete is brilliant! In a perfect world he would be the top of my list.
Listening to an interview with Rs & undecided voters on Morning Joe, those voters are very misinformed concerning Kamala. Its gonna be a tough road ahead.
