I deleted every pro Biden post that I made today as a precaution from being alerted on, since I did not know the timing of Biden's announcement compared to the timing of my posts. Sometimes people get zealous about alerting.
I am suggesting that we be cautious about alerting pro Biden posts just for today in order to allow the news of his withdrawal to reach everyone.

(28,836 posts)I don't see anything wrong with pro-Biden posts. What rule could they possibly break?
I understand your point, but I think there's probably nothing to worry about.

(3,276 posts)I've seen a few topics getting wiped from the past couple of days, but they were ones with heavy implications that they'd refuse to vote if it wasn't Biden getting nominated.
For actual Democrats, it's quite simple. You vote blue, no matter who.

(26,009 posts)That was not my concern. I have argued consistently for Biden, which rankles some people and there have been a lot of tense emotions and views here for a few weeks.

(26,009 posts)Did not want to get bogged down in appeals. As I said in the OP, there are some people who get zealous about alerts for their own reasons.
Right now, I have so many thoughts and feelings about what has happened, that I need to process them without dealing with anything else.

(878 posts)as long as you're not threatening to withhold your vote in November due to him not being the nominee.

(23,631 posts)all they have to do is appeal and I'll overturn the hide (assuming that no other rules were broken, of course).

(8,103 posts)If you're pro Biden (I am), it's okay as long as you don't say that you won't vote for any Dem but him? But, there are extenuating exceptions for awhile?
Cause, I'm really, really angry...If they jump over Harris, I will really be pissed...
