to see who our "betters" will select as the nominee
I fear a grave mistake has been made, I hope it is not a fatal one.

(16 posts)It's easy to listen to the noise and become disheartened, but if anything is true it's this:
1)Trump's a moron. He will sink his campaign faster than anyone else can.
2)We have a large number of folks (including Kamala) who can beat him and have quadruple his IQ.
We have a lot of very smart people working on this, more often than not outside of the spotlight, people who know what they're doing. We can do our job of staying united and let them work on the stats, strategy, etc without background noise.

(22,704 posts)ironically now the Democratic candidate will be picked by those "very smart people" rather than the voters.
The last time a person nominated over the sitting President won the election was James Buchanan in 1856. Since the time the nominees have gone 0-6.

(16 posts)I trust our president. If he stepped down from running it was for a good reason, and extremely selfless. He wouldn't have stepped down from running if he thought the country would lose. I have faith still.
