8. I really like Pete but the country is not going to

Elect a gay man. Pete would ruin any chance of carrying Virginia or Georgia. Castro would be the first Hispanic on a national ticket.

2. Maybe I'm being unfair because I hate Julian, but my gut feeling is no Castro brother should be in the mix.

I'm leaning Buttigieg. He would bring out young voters. Pete would also set the Christofascist's hair on fire.

At the end of the day, I'm grateful it's not my call. I trust VP Harris to make the call.

4. No! He's not a campaigner. He was my congressman.

Nice guy, he doesn't have fire in the belly. He's in a super safe seat. He has inside connections to the Texas legislature which assured that every single precinct in his district is Democratic. He rarely has challengers.

He also has health issues.

5. Yeah, no thanks. There is absolutely zero reason to think he would have any meaningful impact in any of those states

10. No, he has no charisma, brings nothing to the table. It will be a governor. I think repukes are afraid of Shapiro

12. I get the two of them confused -- which one had his knives out for Biden?

Because the one that had his knives out for him absolutely should not be rewarded with anything and, to be honest, neither would bring much to the ticket. Hispanics are not a monolith and just adding one to the ticket -- especially relatively unknown and unaccomplished ones like the Castro brothers -- will not magically win us the Hispanic vote in all those states.

I can't recall which Castro brother called for Biden drop out of the race, but he certainly shouldn't be rewarded.
