Now you have the choice of a highly qualified young woman of color.
I think Kamala Harris will beat Donald Trump. I think she shores up our base and incentivizes the very demographics we need to win, while touting an Administration of accomplishments.
I, for one, am all on board and thank President Biden for all he has done for America.

(6,171 posts)Shapiro does the same with Pennsylvania and the entire rust belt.
I personally think Whitmer is the best choice, but it's not my choice to make.

He doesn't have much experience, but the same as Vance.

(3,921 posts)Cooper is term limited, so people may see it as better to choose him, instead of giving up the PA gov mansion. But PA may be viewed as so crucial that they'd have to pick Shapiro. They'd need to poll this out/focus group it fully.

(2,508 posts)They sound absolutely terrified. They're grasping at any straw and the only thing they seem to have come up with is "Kamala Harris didn't stop Joe Biden sooner". This is their worst case scenario, they know this puts a nail in the Trump campaign's coffin.

Not saying K can't win, just saying she is going to have to rise above some stupid BS like every other Democrat.

(29,352 posts)and the "I'd vote for a woman for president, just not THAT woman (Hillary "Satan" Clinton)" flew out the window because of all the new buts about Warren. Don't think she expected that..

(3,215 posts)If anyone's only complaint is "two old white guys", Kamala Harris is the exact opposite.
A young woman of color. If the person has another excuse, I can't help that.
I agree. Sometimes racists don't want to say they're for Trump because they like his racism, so they look for another excuse. But maybe, just maybe, there are persuadable voters who do agree with our policies, but want a new generation of leaders, especially younger voters.
