We don't lose a Senate or House seat. Andy checks all the boxes, young, photogenic white southerner with obvious political skills.

Cooper's term ends this year, and he is term-limited. Stein won the Democratic primary to replace him. He's running against that whackjob Mark Robinson.

I live in PA and I'm quite happy with Shapiro, I hope he stays here a while longer. He's only been Governor for less than 2 years. Sooner or later he will probably take a run for the White House, but he's got time to build up his resume.

If you're looking at Dem Governors, JB Pritzker would be a smart choice. Kamala won't choose Gavin Newsom because they're both from California. She wouldn't choose Gov. Whitmer because ... 2 women? Never!

There are other worthy possibilities. I'd like to keep Shapiro here in Pennsylvania though.

The next generation of Dem leaders has many bright stars. It will be a tough choice.

He's also very ambitious, so he wouldn't want to hook himself to a losing ticket. "I will at least listen" sounds like "Make the argument, and show me the polling."
